重庆师范大学国际汉语文化学院（原国际汉语文化教育管理办公室）成立于2013年，2019年获批“重庆中外人文交流学院”。学院依托学校的教师教育特色品牌和丰富的中外人文交流资源，主动服务中华“文化走出去”“一带一路”、中西部高等教育振兴、成渝地区双城经济圈建设与打造内陆开放国际合作引领示范区等国家重大战略，助力学校高质量开放办学新样态，建设重庆师范大学国际中文教育事业的新未来。
学院拥有高水平国际中文教育基地、华文教育基地与国别研究平台，以孔子学院建设为核心，建构了“教产研用”一体化运行模式。建有教育部中外语言交流合作中心汉推基地、国侨办华文教育基地、中国侨联交流基地“三位一体”国家级平台；在卢旺达、斯里兰卡、英国、美国、巴布亚新几内亚建立了5所孔子学院；拥有教育部备案的3个国别（区域）研究中心，牵头统筹学校“斯里兰卡研究中心、东非研究中心、印度尼西亚—巴布亚新几内亚研究中心”开展国别与区域研究工作；是“成渝地区双城经济圈孔子学院（国际中文教育）联盟”与“重庆市孔子学院工作联盟”理事长单位，重庆市国际中文教育协作机制牵头单位。
基于国际中文教育的多样化、本土化与数智化，打造中外人文交流“重师”特色品牌。学院下设综合办公室与培养培训科等部门，负责人才培养与各类培训工作。在留学生培养工作方面，主要承担“国际中文教育专业”的学历教育与进修生的教学任务，建构了“理实一体化”国际中文课程体系，人才培养成效显著，如比利时籍留学生戴庐可（DECKERS LUCAS）荣获第十九届“汉语桥”世界大学生中文比赛“全球总冠军”。在培训工作方面，重点任务之一是承担教育部中外语言交流合作中心、中国国际中文教育基金会的培训任务，负责我校孔子学院建设与管理、人员选派等工作，形成了孔子学院“一院一策”特色化办学与“五位一体”协同创新模式，学校三次荣获教育部“孔子学院先进中方合作机构”，承办的孔子学院两次荣获全球“先进孔子学院”，派遣的中方院长三次荣获“先进个人”称号。同时，承担中国侨联与国务院侨办等上级部门的培训工作——华文师资培训、中国文化海外行、海外华裔青少年“寻根之旅”营团活动等，形成“中文+营团”项目品牌特色。扩大国际人文交流合作，在讲好中国故事、传播好巴蜀文化与中国声音以及推动构建人类命运共同体方面作出了重师贡献。

The International College of Chinese Language and Culture of Chongqing Normal University (formerly known as the Office for the Administration of Chinese Language and Culture Education) was established in 2013 and was approved as the "Chongqing Sino-Foreign People-to-People Exchanges College" in 2019. Leveraging Chongqing Normal University(CNU)’s distinctive brand in teacher education and its abundant resources of Sino-foreign people-to-people exchanges, the college actively contributes to national key strategies, including "Chinese culture going global", the "Belt and Road" initiative, the revitalization of higher education in the central and western regions, the development of the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle, and the creation of a demonstration zone leading inland opening up and international cooperation. It assists CNU in pursuing a new paradigm of high-quality open education to shape a new future for the international Chinese language education.
The college boasts high-level international Chinese language education and overseas Chinese language education bases as well as a platform for international and regional studies. With the construction of Confucius Institutes as the core, it has established an integrated operation model of "teaching, production, research, and application". It has built a "three-in-one" national platform consisting of the "International Chinese Language Promotion Base" approved by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education, the "Overseas Chinese Language and Culture Education Base" approved by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office, and the "China International Culture Communication Base for Overseas Chinese" approved by the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese. It has established five Confucius Institutes altogether, which are in Rwanda, Sri Lanka, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Papua New Guinea respectively. Leading and coordinating CNU's international and regional research work, the college has three international and regional research centers registered with the Ministry of Education: Center for Sri Lanka Studies, Center for East Africa Studies, and Center for Indonesia-Papua New Guinea Studies. It serves as the Director General of both the "Confucius Institute (International Chinese Language Education) Alliance of Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle" and the "Confucius Institute Alliance of Chongqing". It is also the initiating and leading unit of the "Chongqing International Chinese Language Education Collaboration Mechanism".
Based on the diversification, localization, and digitization of international Chinese language education, we aim to build a distinctive brand of CNU for Sino-foreign people-to-people exchanges. The college comprises departments such as the General Office, and the Training and Development Department, responsible for talent cultivation and various training programs. In terms of international student training, we mainly undertake the teaching tasks of undergraduate and non-degree students majoring in International Chinese Language Education. We have established an "integrated theoretical and practical" international Chinese language curriculum system, achieving remarkable results in talent cultivation. For instance, Belgian student DECKERS LUCAS won the "Global Champion" title at the 19th "Chinese Bridge" Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign College Students.
In terms of training work, one of the key tasks of the college is to undertake the training programs of the Center for Language Education and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education and the Chinese International Education Foundation, and we are responsible for the construction and management of our university's Confucius Institutes, personnel selection, etc. We have formed a characteristic "one institute, one policy" school-running pattern and a "five-in-one" collaborative innovation model in terms of Confucius Institute development. Chongqing Normal University (CNU) has been awarded the title of "Outstanding Confucius Institute Chinese Partner" by the Ministry of Education three times, and the Confucius Institutes it sets up have been awarded the title of "Confucius Institute of the Year" twice, and the Chinese directors it dispatches have won the "Confucius Institute Individual Performance Excellence Award" three times. At the same time, we undertake the training tasks of the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese and the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council, including overseas Chinese language teacher training, Chinese culture overseas tours, "Root-seeking journey in China" camps for overseas Chinese teenagers, etc., forming a characteristic "Chinese + camp" project brand. We expand international people-to-people exchanges and cooperation, making significant CNU contributions to telling China's stories well, spreading Bashu culture and Chinese voice, and promoting the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind.
